Sorry for the dead silence that has been on going here lately...But a lot has been going on and a lot of studying has been done!

BUT! Some days ago we got a lovely surprise when Lilly from『This life is confusing』nominated us to the 『Liebster blog awards』!! We where both shocked, surprised and happy about that! :O

Neither me nor Lea had heard of this award before, but this award is about nominating 5 blogs that you like that have less than 200 followers, and you think deserves more followers! A pretty nice idea I have to say!

Like with almost everything, there are a few rules, things that you have to do when nominated, and here they are:

So! Finally we got ourselves some time to nominate five blogs of our choice.
These blogs are mostly by people that we really like and think are nice persons><

Being a gyaru can get you some unwanted attention at times, but when something good comes out of it, it makes you feel so good!

We went to Ikea and Smáralindin (Mall) yesterday and as we were walking into one shop in Smáralind a woman stopped us, we were kinda surprised as we did not know that woman, but she asked us if we had just come from getting a makeover. noooo, we did not come from a makeover we answered her, we did this ourselves. She was so nice and asked us about our makeup and we told her about our lenses, then she told us that we where really talented and we thanked her:) It made us very happy because people in Iceland aren't always so nice about things that are different and we often get very weird looks from people.

haha, as I am writing this I suddenly remembered one story of when we where in a another mall and had yet to put in our lenses (it takes us kinda long time to put on makeup so we always put our lenses in afterward so that we can wear them for "longer")

We went straight to a bathroom when arriving to put them in and there was a woman there that thought our lenses were really beautiful and complimented us on them:) haha, she was so surprised when she saw us putting them inX3

We also wanted to go to a shoe store downtown that has a really good sale going on right now... but walking around in 15 cm heels that you are not used to yet can be really tiring, not that we are complaining! Haha, we enjoyed it too much:) ... so in the end we decided not to go...

We went to Reykjavík with our friends  on Wednesday to meet some of our classmates before school starts, and of course some shopping was done! There are sales going on everywhere now, but sadly I found them to be kinda disapointing... at least in the mall that we went to, we could not even find anything in Accessorize, but at last years sales we went there almost everyday and always found something we wanted...:/

I, Lea, grow really tired of things quickly so I changed the template of our blog some time ago, and Emi changed the look of our Tumblr... But I want to change again..*w*

I'm thinking of something simple... but not too simpleXD I'm still thinking and open to suggestions, so if you have any please do tell us!

...YAY! School will be starting soon, on the 11th, and according to the timetable some major changes have been made. We got a new professor at the beginning of last term and she has really made a lot of improvements to the Japanese course:)

This new years eve was probably the most fun so far.. We went to our uncle's for dinner and watched "Áramótaskaupið" there, áramót means wen the years meet and skaup means to make fun of something... or something like that..X3 It is a program shown every NYE making fun of what has happened the past year.

It wasn't really that funny this year, but people said that it was really straightforward, and didn't try to hide anything.

Then we played an Icelandic version of Monopoly and it was very fun!:)

Around 3am we went to a pub to meet our friend and listened to a band playing until 5X3

The reason why this is the best NYE so far is that until now we have always been only with our mom and grandmother... and we didn't really do anything... which sucked!

But it is only going to get better from now on! Next NYE will be in Japan, whoohoo!

It's been really cold here in Iceland, the coldest winter for a long time....

Even though our summer was not eventful, I can't wait for it to come and knowing I have to wait at least 5 months to get some decent heat... I am dreading how it will probably just be getting colder in the meantime...:(
