On to week two of the Gyaru challenge!

I was chatting with Darla about the community and such and what we do for it, ofcourse we have been busy with Papillon and other things, but got inspired to make a blogpost (and maybe a few more after this one) but I actually want to do more to contribute... we'll see how my ambition pans out though! haha
While my thought are that blogs are turning into flowers without water withering away I still enjoy the documentation of my life, fashion and makeup. I might more lean towards the more fun stuff when it comes to life, but I don't want to look back on here to remember the bad stuff!

The holidays have already ended now and it's well into January, which pleases us to no end!
I wouldn't say that this beginning of a year has been dancing on roses, but for the most and biggest part it's been good♡
Here's my Christmas eve look~
I used our new Carli Bybel palette and I am absolutely obsessed with it! Been only using it since getting it, so all the looks hereafter are using it^^
In Iceland our most important day is the 24th, but on that day the family gets together and eats good food, followed by opening presents~
My look for this day was a dress that I also wore two Christmases before, so I wasn't feeling any need to take a picture of it and then later changed into my Rady setup and camwhored some in itXD haha, I'm so obsessed with it and I'm so happy our bestie gave it to us!!!

Also, rocking some lower lashes for the first time in aaages!! These are the dolly wink no. 5, and I really do love them! The top are no. 2, which have been my fave top lashes for months now!!

During the weekend we went into town to meet our friends, it's always good to meet them... and now that it's closing to us leaving we really want to use our time to meet our friends as well as we can!

On the 30th of December we went to a concert with one of our favorite bands called Valdimar, it was so good, and while it was almost two hours it felt so much shorterXD

I was really inspired by Sakurina with my eyemake, and I am still so happy how it tunred out, and always on my way to make a tutorial, but I'm kind of afraid of not being able to do it exactly the same><

Also! Recently we commissioned our friend, Enma, to do some stuff for our blog and we are so excited to see how it all turns out! She's the one that made our current banner, which we still love to bits and will keep on our twitter, but since our style has been changing and we grow tired of our blog layout really quickly we thought it appropriate for an image change on our blog!

Wow, it's almost Christmas! Sadly we have work tomorrow and the day after... Well, on the 24th it's thankfully not a full day as the plan seems to be that everyone helps to finish up so that we can leave early for Christmas! Lately we have been having more off time, giving us space to just lazy around at home and chatting with the people in our share house, but on the 7th of March we decided to go for a bit to Harajuku and just walk around and have a nice day together! (Also a great way to wear your new clothes!!)

However last Friday was our youngest cousins fifth birthday so we went over for a dinner, and of course dolled up for it♡
We had intended to do our makeup early However those plans where interrupted as our aunt came over for a visit, which was really nice, but left us with no good selfie lightning...
So I started fiddling with our good camera, which we usually do not use for selfies as so far it just hasn't been easy using it for that purpose.

We have mostly been staying at home, but almost two weeks ago now we had a Christmas meetup with the lolita group in Iceland! Well, we aren't lolita, but since Iceland is a small country they accept you as long as you are interested in and dress in a Japanese fashion style!
We are going to make a post about the meetup, but we want to get more pics first X3
