We have mostly been staying at home, but almost two weeks ago now we had a Christmas meetup with the lolita group in Iceland! Well, we aren't lolita, but since Iceland is a small country they accept you as long as you are interested in and dress in a Japanese fashion style!
We are going to make a post about the meetup, but we want to get more pics first X3

Then there was another Christmas event on the 20th with some people from work, as well as some that we haven't met before, and it was a lot of fun!

Currently Onee gyaru is our style inspiration as it is a much more mature style. We also feel that as our face is a bit childish to begin with we would like to fix that a bit by trying out a more mature style. No matter how much we love Liz Lisa, their clothes are really flowery, pink and cutesy, so that doesn't really help with our little "problem".

But what does it take to achieve that perfect Onee gyaru look?

Of course, we still haven't gotten that down as for one it is very difficult to get what we need here in Iceland.

They are one month contacts.

Recently we started thinking about the lucky bags that will start selling soon. Probably the biggest reason that we want to buy lucky bags is to grow our closets a lot, the cheap way!!! xD Already planned to buy the 10.000yen and 5000yen lucky bags from Luxe Rose♡

But most of the Lucky Bags cost around 10.800yen^^

These are all bags that you can buy on the internet, but I am pretty sure they differ from the store bought once a lot. 

The ones I included here are the ones that I found, however we also look forward to seeing bags from Rady and Rienda, and of course other brands as well!

When we turned 22 last year while in Japan, we decided to celebrate our birthday by going to Disney Sea with our friends!

We had wanted to buy ourselves school uniforms and go in them, but we cheapened out only to have our friend give it to us for our birthday gift!! We were so happy to receive it the day before our birthday, that we went to donki at the next train stop to where we lived to buy some loose socks to go with it... even though it was already like 10 in the eveningXD
But we were just so excited!!!

The colors in this palette are really pretty, as other than the two gray colors it has, it has one baby pink and another baby blue eye shadows!

This time I used Jeweling Eyes no.90, which is a limited color. The colors in this palette are pretty toned down, but has one pink color to pop it up a bit♡

While we lived in Japan, and after we came back to Iceland we had not been updating this blog for a very long time, which is really sad, as it would be fun to be able to look back on our blog to reminiscence back on the good times. But as we like to focus on fashion for our blog (... though we do like to post about other things, hopefully you guys do too!) I would like to post our outfits from after we came back to cold cold Iceland. Though admittedly out outfits do not always reflect just how cold it can be here, and just how HORRIBLE the weather can be....!!!

Truthfully we did not do ANYTHING this Halloween... it would have been fun to do something, but we had work on the actual day, had made no plans or anything and it went by just like that.

Today we want to talk about YSL's Shocking Mascara that we acquired this summer.
Shocking is from 2011 and comes in four different colors: Deep Black, Sea Black, Cherry Black and Cassis Obscure. The one we got was Deep Black.

Last year on the 6th of March, Sugizo had his release event for his new solo CD, VESICA PISCES, and as our uncle was going to be there as an DJ we were invited as well!

This post is a bit late in the making as it's probably been around two months since it went downXD

When talking about sushi in Iceland, there aren't really that many places to go, but there are a few decent ones. Our favorite is called suZushii a play on the Japanese word  涼しい, which means fresh in Japanese. Sadly, they only have one place and that is in the mall's cafeteria... which means that it isn't very private and VERY noisy... but their sushi is the best in Iceland!!!

And since I am mentioning them in this post I must share a funny story about our last time going there. We went there and the owner of the place was working and he was making our sushi, we were in a really good mood, especially after seeing that he had tako, and we were just weirdly happy as this was our first time in a while getting some sushi.
And then this really weird/embarrassing/funny thing happened.

Lately we quit our job at the airport and since we are currently trying to get a work visa in Japan we decided to change our tickets to Japan a bit, so we won't be going this October like planned.

Because of that our aunt living in the north of Iceland said we should just come visit for a while since we haven't been able to meet a lot for the past few years.
We decided to just do that, and we've already been here for a few days now.
We actually surprised our two nieces by not telling them that we would be coming, and also brought our dog with us so they were really happy when we cameXD

I, Lea, made a new eyemake tutorial a little while ago that I finally managed to upload and finish putting subtitles on!

I must admit that even though I really like the fact that Youtube makes it possible to put subtitles on the videos, they do not have the best application for it. At least I hope it is not just our computer or anything, but it is always breaking down and lagging, the video freezes and all in all it is being a pain in the ass to me>< Making it so that it takes a really long time for me to subtitle my videos...-.-'
