双子のギャル界

Maybe I have said it before, but me and Lea used to work at a hotel....
Serving the breakfast...which is actually quite a nice job, but can be a bit hectic....
AND TEMPTING!!!><

See those croissants and pain au chocolat!!!
How can one resist this EVERY morning with their heavenly good smell!!?

But these two beauties are not the only temptations!!
Check this one out:
First you will need 200gr of melted butter!
Also 500gr of wheat,
1 table spoon of sugar,
2 teaspoons of baking powder.
Add the butter after you have mixed the dry materials together^^
4 eggs
(I am making a double one there for about 60 people^^
or something...
)
Some milk, around 750ml^^
(Yes the picture is upside down xD)
STIR STIR STIR!!!><
Heat up your iron!!!
Now you have a delicious looking waffle with just one thing missing!!
.

CARAMEL<3

So, just as I have mentioned before but on the 29th of August, we went back to Uni to study Japanese.
Me and Lea had been looking so much forward to starting school again! (And so did our friends).
But  this year will be a bit different from last year since our professor just took a year off from school, so we had one new teacher and 2 new teacher assistants(There are new every year).

haha, everyone really likes the new teachers, the new teacher is so much fun, she is always laughing(mostly at us, but who caresxD).

In one of the classes we where learning:
くだものの中でどちらが一番好きですか。
(Among fruits which one is your favorite?)

So she was asking everyone questions in that form, but then she decides to asks me:
きょうしつの中でだれが一番ハンサムですか。
(who in this classrooms is the most handsome?)
I THOUGHT I WOULD MELT TO THE GROUND!
I was so embarrassed><
I just said that I did not know who(I am the type that can not easily say that kind of things:S)
So she just said that I was a nice person not wanting to say whoxP

Then our new TA are also really cute>< At the end of one of the classes they where teaching us, they asked if they could take a picture of the whole class^^

Me, Lea and our friends do some weird things sometimes(often...). In one of our breaks in one class the other day(That the TA where teaching). One of our friends was eating SKYR(Dairy product).
So me, Lea and one other friends where teasing him when he was eating by saying "AAAHH" when he was taking the spoon to his mouth and "OOmph" when he closed his mouth, then when we had done this few times we noticed that the TA where laughing at thisxD haha, everyone in the class likes it when the teachers laughxD

If there is something Icelandic people like it is licorice, you can find so many versions of it that every one can find something they like. Maybe some of you have tried getting a Japanese person to eat licorice, but Japanese people usually do NOT like it. So of course Icelandic people(and others) like to try to get a Japanese person to eat something that tastes like licorice. So far the TA have tried two versions of it. Last week they had some hard candy with licorice taste and pepper inside, they thought it was horrible enough without knowing about the pepper inside, but they where to polite to spit it out even though Lea told them that it was OK.
Then this week they had a candy called "Tópas"(similar to Opal, if you know what that isxD) with a licorice taste, they did not like that so much either, and where probably relieved that this one was so smallxD

Me, Lea and everyone on the second year all have a really good feeling about this year, well except for essays in my case, really do not like them!!:s

Hi gals!<3
About a month ago I ordered these Princess mimi in Green from Pinky Paradise.

Product info:
Diameter : 15mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
Life Span : 1 year disposal

With one in. Flash.

Both in, indoor lighting.

Both in. Flash.

Me with the lens:

My opinion on the lens:
I really like the color and the design of the lens, one can hardly see my real iris color like you can with some lenses. I do not think they look fake, and no one around me has said anything about that(and I think my aunt would definitely say it if it where so).
I have astigmatism, so I should be using toric lenses(0.75 on one and something similar on the other), but using regular lenses does not affect my vision that much, although I do not know what long term use of regular lenses could do to my eyes.

Somehow it differs from day to day how they feel on my eyes, sometimes I get really tired easily and sometimes I can wear them for hours without taking any notice of them, but of course that could be because of many things.

They dry pretty quickly, I have heard that Princess mimi lenses do that, but I just use eye drops to help with that.

Well I hope you liked this review and just ask if you have any questions about this lens and I will try my best to answer it!><

In my opinion a yukata is a must have, not that I wear one often, but it is just to much fun to have one of those pretties in the closet!!><
In the beginning of the year we had "Japan Festival", that the students that are learning Japanese take care of, and me and Lea where in the welcoming section, not the greatest one since we where stuck there the WHOLE time!

That is us in the front row, with our friend in the Doraemon kigurumi, and one in the Pikachu, our other friends are kind of hiding....
haha, we really stand out on that picture>< we could choose to wear our own or get one borrowed from the embassy^^
So want to get one like these?
Then check this out! ><
This is a set of Yukata, Obi and a Geta<3

Worrying about not being able to wear it?
Do not worry! it comes with a CD that teaches various ways to tie an obi and how to put on the yukata!<3

AND something extra!
Isn't it always fun to see someone you admire wear something you own? ><

If you are wondering where my blue yukata is there, I think it sold out since I can not find it on Rakuten....:s

Well that is all for now, until later!><

Hi gals!
Last Friday our uncle's wife turned 35 years old and we went to her b-day party.
Not much happened there except that we got a really good soup(but HOT, burned my tounge:s).
And then a cake><

Then the day after on Saturday we went to help our friend with a fundraiser.
But she was helping there by drawing pictures for people. And we where helping the kids draw, although I felt that we did not do that much:S
Two of our other friends where also there to help and me and one of them participated in a three legged race><
haha, it was really easy, and I got a lollipopxD

Then at the end there was a dance. It was really confusing at first. the dance, but me, Lea and our friends(except one, chicken....xD) where really happy when we got the steps right><
Fortunately it was not too hard to learn.

Radio exercise

DERP facexD

Three legged race

(these three are not from us, but from someone that was there^^)

Then after we got home we watched the new episode of Doctor Who, it was a bit of a disappointment, since the episode had looked so goo in the trailer:'(
When Doctor Who ended Secret fortune began and we where so STUCK in watching that showxD
But when the show ended we went to eat at our friends parents house, got a really good lasagna, salad and garlic toasted bread>< so good<3
Then we went to town to watch the fire works, since this weekend was "Ljósanótt" or "Light night" if I directly translate it...
We walked a bit around the main street where everyone was(the street was closed for cars), bought ourselves some cotton candy(surprise surprise) and then went to a bar, where we spent the rest of the night.
Then at three we decided to call it quits and take a cab home, but we could have walked as well since we had to wait an HOUR before we got one!!!
We where all so pissed, since there seemed so few to be driving around, even at such a big night as this one!
When we got a cab and got home we decided to not go do anything, but when me and Lea where cleaning our eyemake off, our friends called to ask if we wanted to come watch Star Gate, so we went over to them, they live in the next housing apartments to us, but I fell quickly asleep on the couchxD

Fan art by: Colliding Comets

About 1 1/2 year ago I read "From far away" by Hikawa Kyoko and fell i love with it!<3
After I finished that I continued to go reading "Chizumi and Fujiomi", "Miriam" and "Otogi Moyou Ayanishiki"
.
Although at that time I did not finish "Otogi Moyou Ayanishiki" because it was not compleated, I stumbled upon it again while trying to find some adventure/historical manga tp read and I decided to start reading it again.
And much to my liking it was completed this time!!!

The story is about Suzu who is an orphan who see's spirits and senses things that others can not.
To her dismay she also has a few spirits that tend to cling to her from time to time, making her feel weak.
But all that changes when Shinkuro, a samurai that defeats evil spirits, appears and is asked to help her with her problem.
In him Suzu finds a father image that she had not had before and starts calling him "Toto sama" (Respectful way for saying father). But after giving her a fake flute for protection he goes on a mission and goes missing.

10 years later Suzu is grown up and is on her way to return a book that the woman that raised her had been reading.
On her way she falls down a slope and hurts her ankle and is saved by noble people that are fleeing from evil spirits to Nao temple.
Suzu with help from a kitsune that comes from her flute save them and together she and Ojaru sama(The kitsune) help to protect the noble people.

I really love the ending of the manga and the design of the characters(Ojaru sama!!><).
The books are 5 in total, and if everyone likes them as much as I do, the time reading it will fly by!!<3
