Our Halloween in Japan was a very fun one!

We had just recently gotten to know our really close friend now, Haru, by then and she invited us to come with her and another friend of hers to a club in Shibuya for a Halloween party.
As it turned out, a LOT of people from our Uni were there as well! *^^*

Of course, we had to get lost on our way there so we got a bit late...haha so typical!><

Last Saturday we went with our friends for a little trip around the south of Iceland.

We had orginally planned to go to "Flowering days" in a town called Hveragerði, but it was windy, and all the events were kind of far apart, so we found it to be quite bothersomeXD

So we decided to go to a nearby place called Hella, to get something to eat.

There was some kind of a viking festival going on there, but we continued our way to see Geysir rather than to stop there.

 Aaaaaand, before we continue let's take a look at our outfit that day*^^*

Since we were going to flowering days, we decided to incorporate that to our outfit and wore tops from Liz Lisa that has a lot of flowers on it, and Emi had a flower head band (though we don't have any pics of it). We also wore our new denim skirt from Vero Moda, but it is a peplum skirt were you can zip the peplum part off!! :O

So amazing!!!XD

 As you can see it was REALLY windy there!!!!

and a bit cold also, it was so funny when we got there, but all the tourists were dressed really warmly, while we were just...yeah... not so well dressedXD

Lea even caught a cold, but we had fun! So that is all that matters :p

Our next destination was Þingvellir, but there the Icelandic court was in the olden days, so people from all around the country would gather there to get things cleared if there was some problem.
This happened one or few times a year, don/t really remember too well, and is a pretty important place to the Icelandic people.

In Þingvellir there is also a sort of a gorge were there is a river and this place is called "Almannagjá", and in there people throw coins to make a wish :)

Once we were at Almannagjá it was already kind of late, and it had been getting even colder so we headed to Reykjavík where we had decided to get dinner.
We went to a place called Roudhouse, we had to wait a bit before we could get our seats, but that was alright *^^*

 We had some good food and had a lot of fun!
It was also our last chance to hang out with our friend (on the above picture) for a probably very long time, as she moved to England yesterday, and we are moving to Japan *sob, sob*

 At Roudhouse you can get all kinds of different hamburgers, and we decided to go for the doughnut burger, which is kind of weird, but really good none the less.
The fries are deep fried twice, and though they are very crunchy and good, I felt I wasn't able to eat too much of them as the grease was just too much for me.

We then decided to go to a Yoghurt Icecream store called Yoyo for dessert, and it was really yummy!
We kind of wanted to be healthy for once and only get fruits on our ice, but the selection of fruits wasn't so great, so we ended up with lots of candyXD

Looks so yummy right?!?
It was a really nice and fun day, and a really needed one at that!
We have been working weird shifts all summer and they have made it a bit hard for us to plan anything with our friends :(

Yesterday (On Sunday) our niece came over from the north of Iceland to go to the Justin Timberlake concert that was being held here and stayed the night! However as school is starting she went back home today, but not without going shopping first!

First off is today's look! The outfit rundown is:

 Pretty pictures with our niece, Lea was still getting ready so we left her out of the photos!

Oh! And my lipstick is Sensai's Hanayamabuki!
One of our favorite lipsticks, and one of the few orange-y lipsticks that Lea absolutely adores!
(I however love them all!)

Also a EXTRA LARGE picture of our lunch!!!

Iceland has only one really good Sushi place and it is located in one of our shopping malls food courts, because of that many people are under the disbelieve that their Sushi is not that good! Which is so wrong!
Seeing as he is the only one that gets to bring Sushi to the Japanese Festival held annually at the University of Iceland, as he is the only Sushi chef in Iceland that the Japanese Embassy has approved of!

So if you ever happen to be in Iceland and start to crave for Sushi go to Kringlan! (name of the shopping mall)

Also were really happy as we got tuna and octopus on our Nigiri ♡
Been missing octopus lately and he was really surprised when we asked for it! As it is not commonly eaten in Iceland. We where just so happy that he had it!♡

It also happened that in the line after us there where some weaboos, you could say, that felt the need to put on airs and tell the owner that his sign was wrong ( under Nigiri it said Maki in kanji and vice versa). He handled it really well, told them he knew about it, and asked them whether they were studying Japanese in school, and they where just like "Nah, just learning by ourselves". So dislike people that put themselves on airs like that, as the owner clearly knew about this mistake....and these guys were not younger than 20!

Originally me and Lea were only going to window shop, but even when window shopping we love to try on things!

We tried on this top in Top Shop, been eying them for a while, but ended up not buying it though!

 (Regretting it now!)

Then on our way out of Top Shop I saw these glasses and snapped some photos! we ordered similar on ebay the other day, but so far they have not arrived!

So while window shopping we accidentally bough some stuff!

Definitely on accident, but we got some really cute things, so it is OK!

And unexpectedly cheap for Iceland!

 Lea derping around in the dressing room while I try the clothes on! Really love that skirt!

It definitely reminds me of something that we could buy in Japan! ♡ 

We also bought a jacket seen in the picture above, been wanting more outerwear lately and I found two there that I wanted, however we only bought one for now!^^

 Today I want to show you a tutorial that I did with this palette, Jeweling Eyes by Majolica Majorca!
This is the first tutorial of many that we plan to do using our makeup palettes, but seeing as we love buying eyeshadow palettes we will definitely buy many more and do tutorials, not to mention that we already have many that we can make tutorials using!

Sadly we haven't had much time to dress up in the last, probably, two months!!! :<
We've been taking some extra shifts though, so that's always nice!♡

Really looking forward to going to Japan and making more coords though :p

As you have probably noticed we have been changing our blog recently, so we are also trying out new stuff when posting! Please tell us what you think of these changes!♡

Hello guys~♡

Recently we've started running out on a few things that are essential to us, so we made a small haul on ebay! We also ordered some sunglasses and a makeup cleanser, but they have yet to arrive ><

 

Also, lately we have so many ideas for blog posts that it really makes us happy and motivated!
We are really enjoying our blog now and we really do hope that some of you guys do too!♡

It is kind of funny, but somehow I feel that since we have now been gyaru for around three years, we have accumulated more experience with makeup and hair than what we had when we began (understandably so). But at the time that we started, we mostly blogged about our life, which was honestly maybe a bit boring at the time... hasn't improved much thoughXD haha~
At least here in Iceland we never really do anything interesting... sadly.

Of course we had not been into gyaru for long when we started our blog, and we didn't really have many clothes to coordinate as we also did not have the money to spend on clothes, nor makeup, at the time. So of course coord posts were out of the question for us><

haha~ we also had absolutely no idea as to where we wanted to take our style either, and it actually took us a long time to get the tiniest idea of what we liked and thought might suit us!

But now we kind of know!!!!

We have been moving sway from the frills and into a more mature style so we hope that you that are reading this blog will continue discovering our style alongside with us, and hopefully like it!♡

but yeah...!

Like I said (or rather wroteXD) earlier in the blog post, we have a lot of ideas about posts that we want to make for our blog, both inspirational, reviewing beauty products and we are also writing up posts about the main products that we use a lot!:)

Hopefully these posts will be looked forward to*^^*

I, Lea, am kind of the person that once I find something that I like, whether a style of makeup or any makeup products, I will just keep to them. However I do want to try and do my makeup differently, try some other colors and hopefully find something interesting to do! And meanwhile make some makeup tutorials (that Emi will then end up having to put togetherXP).

Hopefully our blog will become more fun and diverse than what it used to be in the past, to keep both you guys, and us more interested in itXD

On Monday it was, if my memory serves me right, that we decided to go with our friend to buy suitcases as she will also be leaving the country soon.

(*sob*only 9 days *sob*)

 

We decided to make a day of it and go to the city were we went to look at suitcases, and she bought one... but we were too picky so we did notXD

However, sales were also going on so we went to a mall close by to see if anything interesting was for sale and though we did manage to find a skirt and a peplum shirt that we liked, there really wasn't anything else interesting on sale, and the sales were disappointing to say the least... but well that is pretty much what we expected thoughXD

Though the sales were disappointing we went to grab something to eat and decided on Friday's as we love it there♡

Our mom also joined us and we all had a lot of fun there and had some really delicious food... though the service was kind of suckyXD at first there came a girl that took us to our seats, but a guy came over to take our order, and he probably just forgot about us afterwards as we did not receive our drinks until after our food... and we had to ask to get them...XD

 We ended up only getting the denim skirt, and it is so awesome!

It is a peplum skirt, BUT! it has a zipper so the "peplum" part can be zipped offXDXD

That peplum top (both colors) was so nice too, but we did not get it in the end><

 Small quiz, on the two last photos, which is which? do you know? fufufu~

Don't know if we have ever written it on here, but when we were younger we did not know which was which, and always when the teacher called everyone's names during class we answered to both our names, until one day we got fed up and went home and asked our mom "mom! which is which?!?!" haha~XD
