Spring is slowly coming around in most countries, and even though it is far off in the future here in Iceland, it is already getting a bit warmer in Japan, and not to mention that they are already bringing out their spring collections. Rienda also just recently announced that they will start selling their Valentines clothes from the 6th of February. So we decided to show you gals what they will be selling + some new spring items♡

Hi guys!
We just realized that we haven't made a "Memoirs of Japan" post in ages! Which is sad, considering that we really enjoy making these posts, and they are very precious memories to us!
But well, this time for Memoirs of Japan we want to tell you guys about a wonderful day we had with our friend Hitomi.

We had gotten to know her trough our uncle's wife (Eiko) as they are friends, but when we participated in Eiko's fashion show for the second time we got to know Hitomi there.
Long story short we decided to have a fun day together and she also invited Eiko to come for dinner with us in the evening:)

Today I want to make a review for you all about the Astro Gray sponsored by Geeenie~^^

The Astro lenses come in three colors, gray, blue and brown. With the prescription lenses a bit more expensive than the Plano ones.

Geeenie is based in South Korea and they have a great selection of lenses! They also have a sister site where they sell some makeup.

Recently we have not had a lot to do, therefore not a lot of blogging material, except of course tutorials~ We have hypes of those!

However last Friday was our youngest cousins fifth birthday so we went over for a dinner, and of course dolled up for it♡

We had intended to do our makeup early However those plans where interrupted as our aunt came over for a visit, which was really nice, but left us with no good selfie lightning...

So I started fiddling with our good camera, which we usually do not use for selfies as so far it just hasn't been easy using it for that purpose.

HOWEVER! I managed to shoot some selfies that I liked so I decided to share them with you gals!

This time around we are here with some of our favorite coords of December 2014!
We started December off with collections of staff coords, that is, two post of the first two weeks.
But maybe it would be a lot more fun to do it like this??

This one is really late, but we thought it would be fun to take the outfits we like best throughout the month and collect them in one post like this*^^*

Recently I feel like I see a lot of posts about homemade masks, where people are recommending things that are really not that good for your face and I felt that something should be written about it!

I didn't know well why those things where so bad, so I decided to educate myself on the subject!

It was quite funny actually, I first shared something similar on a Icelandic FB group that is supposed to be for makeup tips and stuff like that, although the girls post absolutely ANYTHING there! Name it and they most likely have talked about it (Even though some members go down to 10 years of age...)

When I posted on that group I immediately got a reply from one girl I know telling me that lemons are OK once in a while on your face and so was white toothpaste! (Ironically when I answered her with cold hard facts she deleted her comment!)

Well, I decided to check better into it to know my facts as well as I could (Did some light research the first time). And now I want to share with you all what I found! So I hope you like this post! What I want to talk about are lemons, sugar, toothpaste, baking soda and Vaseline (Or to be exact the main ingredient, patroleum jelly).

When a year comes to end we see all kinds of year-end posts were people are summarizing their year and sharing with us all and we both find that very interesting!
However, our life this past year hasn't been so interesting, and since we post a lot about makeup on here, why not just summarize our makeup looks throughout the year?

As many of you guys probably know already, Japanese people make some pretty amazing food!
Their restaurants are many really pretty, and the appearance of the food often just as pretty, or even prettier!

Undeniably, we weren't the most adventurous about food-tasting, or just most things in general, but thanks to our friends we really started loving all kinds of cakes. Which we didn't do as much before.
Now I just wonder if it is really a good thing? haha, either way, all the yummy cakes are always welcome in our tummies!
